Kelly Sanders was previously the general manager of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, one of Starwood’s top performing Sheraton properties in North America. Under Sanders’ leadership, the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina received numerous accolades and was selected as one of the pilot properties in introducing Starwood’s Building World Class Brands initiative. Earlier this year, the hotel hosted the Starwood World Conference and the National Sales Kick-Off. In 2004, the hotel was selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in San Diego” and last year was recognized for outstanding community service.

Sanders began his career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in 1996 as director of rooms at the Westin Horton Plaza. He was quickly recognized for his leadership abilities and promoted to hotel manager of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in 1998. In 2001, he was promoted to general manager of the hotel.
Sanders received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Fine Arts from the University of Utah. He began his career in the service industry in 1988 as an office manager for Doubletree Hotels & Resorts in Salt Lake City Utah.
Revell Newton
Director of Sales and Marketing

Revell Newton joins us from Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa where he served as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was part of the resort's opening team orchestrating a positive opening market position and generated outstanding year over year room revenue growth. In 2006 Revell was selcted as Starwood Hotels and Resorts NAD Sales Leader of the year and in 2005 received the Starwood Hawaii Group Sales Revenue Team of the Year award.
Prior to joining Starwood, Revell held various key sales positions for Kapalua Bay Hotel and Ocean Villas, Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort and Spa, and Maui Marriott Resort.
Revell is a graduate of San Jose State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business and minor in Japanese. Revell speaks Japanese and Spanish. In his space time, he enjoys physical training, cooking, and scuba diving.
