Waikiki Beach
Beyond the main pool lies an intimate stretch of sandy beach. During low tide, guests and families may sunbathe on the sand and enjoy the gentle saltwater waves. High tide however, brings waves over the beach area fronting the hotel and guests are recommended to walk over to adjacent beach areas a few steps away.
GENERAL SEASONAL SURF CONDITIONS
The summer months bring bigger surf to Waikiki. The water is usually calm and the surf ranges from 1-3 ft. There are occasional 4-6 ft swells. The winter months bring very calm conditions, and the surf is usually smaller; usually not rising above 2ft. Please check all surf conditions with the Waikiki Beach Lifeguards should you have any questions.
ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE
Group Surfing Lessons: 90 min lessons offered daily at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Must be at least 12 years old to participate in group lessons. Private lessons available.
Price: $60 for group lessons and $125 for private lessons.
Outrigger Canoe Rides: $25 per person
Maita'i Catamaran: Several sails to choose along with underwater adventures and private charters. Prices and times vary.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
Food and Beverage service is available at both Helumoa and the Infinity pool; however, alcohol is NOT allowed on Waikiki Beach.
BEACH LOUNGE CHAIRS & UMBRELLA RENTALS
20 sets available through the Helumoa Pool retail desk. Set up location will be the beach area fronting Sheraton Waikiki and Royal Hawaiian Hotels.Rental includes 2 chaise lounge chairs and 1 umbrella
Price:$45.00 daily rate, $20.00 hourly rate
WATER SPORT SERVICES & RENTALS
Beach Activities of Maui at Helumoa Pool operates beach instructions and equipment rentals for hotel guests. Offering the following sevices and products: Sand toys, goggles, snorkel sets, underwater cameras, soft footballs and volleyballs, kid floats. Boogie board, surf board and stand up paddle board rentals. As well as 2 person pool side cabana rentals for $45 at Helumoa ($60 at infinity) Seasonal adjustments may apply.

CAN YOU SEE WHALES?
During Winter months and as late as April, it is possible to see whales spouting and breaching. Turtles and dolphins are also spotted in Waikiki daily.
